What do you do at our company?
I work as a grass maintenance crew member.
What has been your favourite project so far?
Every day is a new project because l am learning something new every day.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
The positive work environment, working with my co-workers/friends because I always know I’m going to have a good day.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am an animal lover. I rescued a raccoon when I was younger and had him for a pet for a little before finding a rescue to take him in.
How do you balance your career and your family/personal life?
That can be a challenge especially working with my significant other but something I live by is don’t bring work home, and to always go home happy at the end of the day.
What advice would you give to other women in the industry?
Persevere. It can be hard in the beginning, but you’ll get the hang of things quick.
What does a typical day of work look like for you?
Grass and gardens, along with other lawn care needs.
What are three words you would use to describe Clintar?
Family, motivational, rewarding.
What do you find most rewarding/challenging about your role?
Seeing the progress in my work. Looking back at a property after it’s done and seeing how good it looks after we finish the site.
If given the chance, who would you be for a day?
I wouldn’t want to be anyone else, I’m happy with who I am!
If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
Marilyn Monroe. Because she was iconic, she just did her own thing and didn’t care what people thought of her. She was an advocate for women.
What would you like to be famous for?
I wouldn’t like to be famous but if I had to pick it would be for animal rescue.
What inspires/motivates you?
My daughters inspire me every day. I want to be an example for them, so they know they can do anything they put their minds to.
