What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
The support and family dynamic of my crews and management.
What do you do at our company?
I am currently a crew leader. I am responsible for my crew members and their safety plus training. I make sure all my sites are done in a professional manner and well taken care of.
What has been your favorite project so far?
Advancing and taking the new responsibility as a crew leader, with the possibility of becoming a supervisor as our company grows.
What's something most people don't know about you?
I suffer from severe mental health issues that sometimes make my days harder. With the support from my family and work it makes my bad days a lot better knowing that they all understand.
How do you balance your career and your family/personal life?
Being as my children are all grown, I am fully dedicated to my career at this point.
What advice would you give to other woman in the industry?
It is a very hard but fulfilling career, you can absolutely do anything you put your mind to and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
What does a typical day of work look like for you?
I start my day with a walk around my site and a group talk to delegate what tasks we will all be doing for that site. Once we have completed our tasks, I will do another walk around to make sure that everything has been done to company standards.
What are three words you would use to describe Clintar?
Room for advancements.
What do you find most rewarding/challenging about your role?
I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment after completing each site, especially when the tenants at the sites give amazing compliments about the work my crew and I have done.
If given a chance, who would you be for a day?
I would be my father as he was the one who taught me my hard work ethic, also he has given me so much knowledge in landscaping/maintenance.
If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
Keanu Reeves because he seems very educated, generous, and level-headed.
What would you like to be famous for?
My strengths and accomplishments of the things I have overcome in life.
